Background: Journal of Applied Science and Information Technology (JASIT) is a peer-reviewed, electronic open-access journal published twice a year (May and November) by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research - Institute for Scientific and Technological Information (CSIR-INSTI).  
 
Journal Scope: The JASIT publications will cover research and development activities in the area of Applied Science, Technology Related Case Studies, Information Technology and Computer Science. The objective is to publish leading edge research on any possible topic in the above-mentioned domains of expertise both from theoretical and empirical perspectives.
 
The journal deals mainly with the publication of the results of theoretical and empirical research in the underlisted fields. The journal will therefore
